September 10, 2010 to September 30, 2010 The exhibit will consist of approximately eighty-five works by Fred Haines, long time Principal of the Ontario College of Art and friend, colleague and supporter of the Group of Seven. He painted with and employed many of them. The exhibit will have samples of his etchings, aquatints, watercolours and many oils. Reception: September 10, 7:00 9:00 pm. October 1, 2010 to October 24, 2010 This annual art show and sale is presented by the Meaford Creative Arts Association. Opening reception Saturday October 2 from 2 to 4pm. Location: The Galleries It's About Time - Terry Best

November 25, 2010 to December 4, 2010 Bid on unique Christmas gifts and experiences for everyone on your list in the most unusual shop in Meaford! Progressive dinners, fashion consultations, spa treatments, a stay at a Fairmont Hotel with dinner; tickets to a Raptors and a Leafs game; all these and more are up for bid at this silent auction fundraiser for the Meaford Hall & Culture Foundation. Bidding is available every afternoon after November 25 and closes during intermission of the Christmas Celebration featuring Cynthia Dale in concert on December 4.
