Late Patrons will be admitted to the Theatre at the discretion of Head Usher in order to reduce disturbance to other patrons.
Recording Devices (cell phones, cameras)
Use of cell phones, cameras or recording devices varies depending upon the event and performer’s request. Each event has specifics posted at each entrance to the opera house or check with the Head Usher for details. ABSOLUTELY NO FLASH.
Meaford Hall is fully accessible with the exception of the balcony. A minimum of two wheelchair spaces will be held at all performances as well as adjacent seats for accompanying guests/ support workers. If these seats are not sold they will be released to the general public 48 hours prior to the performances or when the theatre is 90% sold out.
Support workers who are required to accompany a patron will receive a free ticket to attend the performance as a caregiver.
Food and Drink
No outside food or beverage will be permitted in the Opera House with the exception of bottled water. The Opera House is fully licenced and items purchased at the concession will be allowed into the theatre. Some events may not serve alcohol per Municipal Alcohol Policy.
Meaford Hall is a smoke free building. No smoking is allowed within a nine metre (29.53 ft) radius of any entrance or exit of Meaford Hall.
Please be considerate of other patrons and restrict or refrain the use of perfume or cologne.
